What should I pack for a week trip?

What kind of bag is ideal for a week long trip to Mexico? What should I pack?

• Let me start by admitting that I'm an unexperienced traveler who will generally over pack. With that said, I'll be leaving to an unfamiliar region of Mexico in a week with a friend, and I'm completely unsure of what would be the ideal bag or suitcase for someone who's not strong and really small. I'm planning on using public transportation to find a hostel or hotel. Also we're taking a bus to Veracruz and Oaxaca, so I need something that's sturdy. My friend and I want to make the most of our time. We'll be visiting the historical sites and museums during the day and relaxing at the bars every night. How would I pack for that? No lectures, please. Tips, I need advice. I don't want to look like a complete tool, who's too busy struggling with a huge bag to pay attention to anything else. Not to mention, my Spanish needs a lot of work.

  i cant really help you with wat type of bag but not a huge bag just the smallest you can find to fit all of the follwing: about 2 or three pairs of shorts about 2 or three shirts tennis shoes flip flops 2 pairs of pajamas tolitries(shampoo conditioner brush toothe brush and other necessities) 2 outfits (for the bar) socks undergarments ummm....that's about all i can help you with if you stilll are not sure ask your friend what their bringing and start from there if you dont like my advice...i hope i get pick for best answer i'll keep my fingers crossed good luck in mexico audious me amigo (that means goodbye my friend) lol try buying a spanish book to learn so espanol (spanish)
