How much does it cost to send a letter from Australia to England?

How much would it cost to send a dress to australia from England?

  • The dress is quite a heavy dress with embroidery at the back, i havent weighed it yet but i just wondered if anyone knows how much it would cost to send the item over to australia? Or would i have to go to the post office? the trouble is it isnt packaged up yet as it is on ebay and someone in australia is just asking me! Please no silly answers, i am hoping there may be someone out there that reqularly send items to australia from England!

  • Answer:

It should be cheap to send to Australia if the package is under 2 kilograms. Once it's over, it starts to get expensive! If you have them paying postage, price shouldn't be an issue though. http://www.royalmail.com/delivery/delivery-options-international/airmail/prices

Just drop it down to that tunnel that leads to the other side of the earth. It will be free then, but the dress might not survive JK, use DHL, probs like $30

Depends on the weight. Pop it on the scales and find out the weight in grams and then go to this website http://www.seajays.org.uk/postage/ Put in how much it weighs and it will give you results for sending nationally and internationally. Scroll down to the Airmail - Rest of world and it will give you a price for sending it via Royal Mail as a Small Packet which is plenty big enough for the dress.

Look at the Royal Mail website for weights and prices.
