Can I bring food on an airplane? Please answer!?

  • I'm going from Manchester Heathrow Airport by Thomas Cook Airlines, to Lanzarote Arrecife Airport ,next week, We haven't bought an in-flight meal, so we have to pre-bring our food and drink, I was just think - Can you bring food and drink on a TC airplane? Can you buy food/drink in the airport before going on a TC airplane? The flight is four and a half hours, I know I will get hungry sorry about the questions! points for best answer!

    You can bring food on board the flight but keep in mind that it will have to be consumed during the flight You can bring food from home that you wish to bring on the flight, snacks, sandwich and fruit. You cannot bring any liquids thru security. Food and beverages can also be purchased at the airport past the security line to be brought on board the flight

yes, you can bring food from AFTER security, they really wont let you past security with food and drink. Just get through security and stop at one of the restaurants and get some food. Hope this helps!

Don't be sorry for asking lol :) My advice is to bring both cash ($20) and a non-smelly lunch that won't bother others. Ham sandwiches, carrot sticks, hummus and pita, and salads are all great options. Please do not bring anything with egg, fish, or nuts as some people can not stand the smell and some (like myself) have deadly allergies to nuts. If you are not allowed to bring it on, then they will politely throw it away for you and you can buy something on board with your cash. Just hide your food at the bottom of your carry on and "forget" to declare it.

probably not. with their fear of liquid bombs and what they consider weapons you probably can't. check their website. they probably have a "what not to bring list" i think you cant even bring nail clippers on the plane cause they consider it a possible weapon. its stupid
