USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate box?
-
I have a package that weighs 2.0 lbs and plans to send it via priority mail. I don't have a regular box for it, so can I use a priority mail flat rate box and just cross out the "flat rate" label? Since regular priority would cost me less than priority flat rate.

Answer:
No, the post office won't let you do that. You have to either use your own box for regular priority mail, or a flat-rate box for flat-rate fare only.

No, you can't do that. If you don't want to use the flat rate, then put your package in a regular box or better yet, bring your item to the post office and put it in a regular priority mail box once you get there.
