When do I use TSA locks for my luggage?

TSA Approved Luggage Locks.......?

  • I'm wondering if Australia has an approved luggage lock thing like the USA and UK have? If they do, where can i get some info about them? or where can I buy them? Thanks!

  • Answer:

According to the cited site (which is a few years old), they're available at Myers in Parramatta, luggage stores in Sydney, and online here: http://www.gogogear.com.au/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=279&cat=TSA+Approved+Locks

Other answers

The TSA locks from what I understand are worldwide. I purchase my TSA approved locks from a store that sold suitcases and other items. I went from the US to Japan and also to the Philippines and was not told to remove my locks. I know your question is about Australia in particular but like I stated earlier was told it was worldwide.
