What is a Global Passport?

What documents do i need to take with me when applying for a fast passport?

• im going to my local passport agency tomorrow to apply for my first passport in person. to cut a long long story short, i haven't booked flight dates yet but i will book them straight after my passport has been issued to me. i want my passport in a hurry.or i at least want to apply in person so that i can be sure my paperwork has safely gotten to the right people. i have to travel to another state for this appointment and i cant afford for anything to go wrong because i wont be able to go there again anytime soon, and i've kinda left it to the last minute because i wasn't aware that i had to take anything other then my birth certificate with me, so please can someone tell me if this information is correct? i have to arrive on time and take proof of u.s citizenship like my birth certificate, my social security number and also i have to a passport application form with me (which i can pick up from my post office) that is already filled out including a passport picture.... ....is this correct? thanks! p.s. i'll be going to the passport agency in chicago

  You will need: 1) Proof of citizenship (Birth Certificate or Naturalization Certificate) 2) ID or Driver's License 3) Two passport photos 4) Checkbook, some places accept Credit Cards 5) DS-11 Form
