Can I bring my hair straightener and curling iron in my carry on (my purse?

  • Im moving to Toronto soon and I wanted to bring my straightener and curling iron in my purse because i dont have much room in my suit case and i dont want to go over the weight limit with my checked bag. Its going to be in a small zip of case that fits both irons inside and stuffed in my purse with my notebook labtop on top. Would it be hard to get through security ? and im using west jet thanks

    Yes you can,I always have my straightener in my carry on but no products,they have to go in your suitcase unless they are 3.5oz
