How do I ship something at the post office?

Can a kid go to the post office and ship something?

  • I want to ship a few packages to some friends. can i got to the post office and get them shipped. im a teen. do they take cash.

If your items fit into one of the If It Fits, It Ships boxes, that is often the most economical choice. These can be picked up at the PO for free. I know there are occasional stories about postal workers going nuts, but most are very helpful, especially if you tell them this is your first shipping experience. They want the package done properly so it gets where it is going without issue.
