What should I take in my hand luggage?

What can i take in my hand luggage when flying to India?

  • I am flying to India via British Airways. According to the British Airways website: ''The following British Airways destinations do not permit liquids, gels, creams or cosmetics in hand baggage under any circumstances: India'' However, my friend went to India via British Airways about 2 months ago and took liquids/creams (100ml bottles in a clear bag) in her hand luggage and everything was ok. So i'm a little confused if i am allowed to take liquids/creams in my hand luggage even though the website says its not permitted? Would the following items be ok in my hand luggage? 1. Vaseline (20g) 2. Nivea Cream (30ml) 3. Deodorant (35ml) 4. Anti-Bacterial Hand Gel (50ml) 5. Body Spray (30ml) 6. Concealer (5ml) 7. Mineral Foundation (0.75g) (All in a clear plastic bag) And also, spare contact lenses, inhalers (with prescription), tissues, baby wipes, hair straigteners, camera (plus charger) and ipod (plus charger)? Thanks!
