How does priceline "Name Your Price work"?

  I don't think you actually did it right You Name Your Price. Say 100. The next page will show you your total. This total does not mean that your bid is accepted. It just tells you what you're paying. You fill in your details. It's after your details (including CC#) that you'll know if your bid is accepted. As far as flight times, this is directly from Priceline: "Your trip will start between 6am and 10pm on your travel dates. Although we always look for non-stop flights first, Priceline flights may make up to one connection each way. Your exact flights and times will be shown to you once your purchase is complete. We will issue convenient electronic tickets. " So sometimes you might find that you're stuck with red eye flights. Let's say you have a flight 4/20-4/25. On your arrival flight, it is at 11:45pm and you arrive at your house at 6:00am. That means you'll actually be arriving 4/26. This is why you pay more for flights where you can control the times.
