How long will it take for my order to arrive?

I live in the UK (near London to be exact) and I just ordered an item of Etsy The person i bought the item off is based in America, so I'm just wondering how long it will take for an item to arrive in England if it was sent first class from the US? Thanks :)

Answer:
It depends on how long it gets hung up in customs. First class mail estimates merely say "varies by location", but Priority is 6-10 days as an example, so I'd figure that as a starting point.
