Passport went through the wash.

My passport went through the wash! PLEASE HELP!?

    Not sure how it works in your country...but many years ago when I was working as a salesman for Travelbase in Bromley, Kent, UK. someone phoned through to me having booked a VERY expensive holiday telling me their passport had expired. This was on a Sunday...their flight was for 7 hours later. I managed to get a number for their village (Catrine, Ayrshire) post master, who, upon taking my call called his area manager in Ayr, Scotland. He then opened the safe at the main Post Office and took out the paperwork needed. He in turn called his connection in the Passport Office who likewise opened his safe and withdrew the required blanks. The Police took the paperwork from Ayr to Catrine and picked up the man and his family and raced them to the main Passport Office in Glasgow having stopped at a railway station to get the photographs done in a photo booth. The upshot was that on that one amazing Sunday morning back in around 1994-95 I achieved the impossible. I had managed to get 4 passports issued in less than 2 hours. I seriously doubt that it will ever be achieved again? So, all I am saying is this...anything is possible, but you just need the right people to go the extra mile to help you. I really hope you get this sorted, but knowing how things are today...I somehow feel it unlikely? Good luck anyway.

See page below to see the list of the Regional passport Agencies. if you live in or near one, you can call for an appointment, go, get new passport the same day. if that is not possible, see 2nd site and use one of the private agencies licensed to get the passport for you. Will cost extra,, but you have no choice.

Most likely the hot water has caused the laminated pages to separate, in which case you will have to get a replacement passport. As you need it it a hurry your stupidity is going to cost you extra.

You might have to get a new one. I don't know much about it but you might not be able to get a new one for a while.

You have to get to the nearest passport agency to get a new one and you are looking at $200. 1-877-487-2778 to make the appointment
