How much would it cost to ship a puppy from Bellville, OH, United States to Courtenay BC Canada?

  The breeder you're buying from should be able to contact the airline and get the standard rate (most breeders tend to have a preferred airline and stick with it). They will also charge you for a crate that meets the airline guidelines. I know to domestically ship a puppy, it usually costs about $250-$350 depending on the airline and how far you are shipping. There could be extra fees involved in this case though since it's international, but again, the breeder should be able to get that information for you as long as they are willing to ship to Canada.
