How do I pack for an airplane?

How should I pack my Shampoo in my backpack for the airplane?

  • I am travelling to Calgary and I need to pack my shampoo, conditioner, lotion, perfume and bodywash. I am bringing my hiking backpack as it is the only thing I have. How should I pack them, at the bottom or the top? I am not too sure.

    Gosh you could get some shampoo and stuff in Calgary when you get here we have stores that sell this type of thing. If you buy just a small bottle to use on your adventure you will not need to worry about shipping it or any spillage.We also have things like running water and blow dryers.

The first thing we need to know is if you are checking it or carrying it on. Checking it in you can take as much as you want and put it anywhere you want. I usually put the containers in large ziplok bags in case of leakage. If you're carrying it on you are limited to as many 3.4 oz.(100 ml) containers as will fit in a single one quart ziplock bag.

in the middle (between stuff so they can't get easily crushed) also wrap any bottles individually in a plastic bag so if something breaks, you won't have it all over your belongings

If you are carrying it onto the plane, you won't be able to take them unless it is 100ml or less total liquid. If you need to take all that, I would suggest checking your bag (under the plane) or bring a separate bag to check to put that stuff in.
