Sleepaway camp packing?

• I know it's February, but its time for camp sign ups and I like planning ahead.This way I can perfect my list, order or buy things i need, etc. I have two main questions! The first one is this- Is it worth buying a trunk for camp? I would defiently use it for storage when it's not camp time, but it's $160 which is a lot of money. I have a suitcase I could use, but it's used a lot and is starting to show signs of abuse! It has a broken zipper pocket and a torn top inside cover, but it's still usable. I just don't know if I shouldn't bother with the trunk and use my suitcase. The camp is a week long btw, and there is detachable wheels for the trunk My second question isn't really a question but more like ideas and suggestions you have for packing. The list they give is pretty small and generic. (it basically says shirts shorts shoes toiletries bathing suit towel and bible). I'm a 13 year old girl, the camp is in a warm/hot place with unpredictable rain (usually it wouldn't rain the entire week but once or twice). We wouldn't be outside in the rain though. The cabins have no air conditioning but they do have electricity (one outlet each right next to your bunk). It's a week long and it's a church camp with lots of activities. There is one formal banquet at the end. Thanks!

  I'm thirteen too and i would recommend not buying the trunk (unless its really cute) rain boots a light rain coat a cute umbrella a cute dress but not toooooo formal and everything thats on that list and you should be fine :D
