How well do space bags do in airplanes?

Question about bags and airplanes?

  • I will be flying to Texas soon but I wasn't sure how bags work and all that. I will be flying Southwest Airlines and they say the first two checked bags fly free. This is all I need but I wanted to bring a carry-on bag also. Will this cost extra or is it free? Does it count towards the first two bags or is it separate than everything else. Thanks for helping in advance!

    someone hasnt flown in awhile lol the first two checked bags do fly free for southwest i believe. its actually the only airline that allows that many fly for free. i think youre allowed one carry on bag to bring on board, which also is free. safe travels!

Check-in bags and carry-on bags are different. They limit two check-in bags per person to ensure that the plane doesn't carry too much weight that it can't take off. Most airlines limit one carry-on bag per person. Carry-on baggage are free and do not count at all towards the number of checked in bags. You should be fine! Enjoy your travels!
