Does USPS ship on weekends? If so how long?

Does USPS Priority still ship on weekends?

I don't mean delivered on weekends I mean if the order has been places and it says it's shipped on Thursday then on the weekend does the truck still bring it closer to it's destination? I'm not really sure how to say but I what I'll try to do it this way: 1. Ordered on Tuesday 2. Shipped on Thursday 3. Didn't get it friday. Does it stop moving until after the weekend or is it still coming to it's destination it just won't be delivered on weekends? Sorry about my lack of grammar and spelling. I'm not very good at speaking english.

The USPS considers Saturday to be a full work day. If your parcel arrived Saturday you would have it by now. Please realize that Priority mail is not guaranteed to be delivered in a certain number of days. I would expect your parcel to be arriving early next week, but if it does not then you need to call the shipper and ask them to investigate.
