Not all car transportation companies allow you to put belongings in the car. In fact some disallow this. Something to consider. Car transportation company based out of FL is Ship Your Car Now. Another option is paying a bigger moving company (United Van Lines for example) that can move all your belongings AND car in the same truck. Though that route can be an expensive one.
