What to pack for a two week mission trip?

  • My Church is going on a two week trip to italy for a ministry through sport trip...ok so here is the dress code i know so far no spagetti straps no v necks no short shorts also we will probly be plaing sports and stuff so yeah also were going to the vatican so what do i wear there will they give me like a robe thing or something... please help im kinda clueless as you can probly tell... and its in the summer idk if i already said that

    Do not pack two weeks worth of clothes. Rather, pack light- take things that can be versatile and outfits that mix and match. Several t-shirts, a couple of blouses, some appropriate shorts, a couple of pair of jeans, perhaps one dress and a couple of skirts. Flip flops, sneakers and sandals/dress shoes. Under clothes, of course. If you will be doing any swimming inquire about what swimwear is allowed- likely they will want you to have a one piece, along with a coverup to wear when you are not in the pool. An interesting fact- the Vatican is its own country. When you go, just dress modestly and you will be fine. You will not need a robe.

Vatican, like any church in Italy, cover your shoulders and your knees. A loose blouse and linen pants would work well. Also pack something to wear on your head, Italian summers can be brutal, temperatures of 35 degrees C in the shade are not at all unusual.
