Im Flying with easyjet next month- Would i be able to take my laptop?

Hey, im flying with easyjet in a month and ive recently got a new laptop and i wondering if i'd be able to take it on the flight, i never seen other people on laptops and ive checked the easyjet website but it says nothing on hand baggage...So i thought id ask you ... Also if i did take my laptop would i be able to use internet in the airport or on the flight ? Thankyou

I have a new compact laptop called a 'Tango'. It works really well, but I never take it out of its case on a plane as I would be too embarrassed to let people see me getting a lap-dance. .
