What to bring to europe?

  • tomorrow im going to europe with my school and im 15, can you tell me what i should bring? i know that theres lots of pickpockets, so can you help me? thanks

  • Answer:

When I went to Europe, i packed really light so i would have enough room for souvenirs and stuff. I packed about a weeks worth of clothes, but then brought a tide-to-go pen, downy wrinkle spray, and some dryer sheets to stick in my suitcase. These things helped in keeping my clothes fairly clean and presentable. Nobody cares if you wear the same shirt twice in 2 weeks :) Also you're going to want to bring some pants and a nice shirt, especially if you are planning on going into some churches. Some places won't let you in if you don't meet the dress requirement. definitely bring a camera and extra memory if you need it. bring a money belt or a little pouch you can wear under you clothes so the pick pockets can't get at it. You'll want comfortable shoes too, when I was in Europe, we did a TON of walking! Try to pack as light as possible, you'll thank yourself when you don't have to carry a 50 pound bag up to the 7th floor of your hotel (a lot of places in Europe don't have elevators, or if they do they're super tiny and the line for them can be outrageous). Hope you have a good time!
