How much spending money should I bring on a trip to Italy/Switzerland this summer?
-
I am going to Italy and switzerland this summer for a little over 2 weeks. I am going with my parents (i'm 14) so food and travel, and hotel expenses will be paid by them. I want to buy some stuff there though, so how much money should i bring to buy souvenirs and stuff? I have about $800 saved in my bank account. I don't want to spend it all though. I am also going to get a job to earn some extra money. I might buy a camera soon so I probably will have about $500 left after i buy that... if i do.

Answer:
As it is only souvenirs and stuff, I doubt you'll need to take too much, certainly not $800 or even $500, I think $250 should cover it, and take it in USD, changing only what you need, so that you are not left with too many euros to change back to USD.
