I'm going to Italy, what should I bring?

Im going to run away, what do i need to bring?

  • okay, im a 14 year old girl, i live in ireland, the reason i want to run away is. . .i caught my mom having an affair with my teacher, and i cant even look at her anymore,my dad and her just argue all the time and i cant handle it, iv got 1,300 in the bank and i have a master card so i can take out money when i please, i plan to go to dublin and book a flight there. i can take a bus from where i live to dublin. iv never been that close to my family, im the youngest of 3, my family has a house in sweden,as i am half swedish.i have emailed the people renting out our house and they said that they wouldnt mind me staying there, and that they wouldnt tell me parents(althought they dont know that im running away, i just told them im going on holiday and that my parents thought that i was staying with relatives) iv never been that happy at home, i like traveling and i plan to go to austrailia(after getting a job in sweden first(i am fluent in swedish) then im going to stay with one of my friends over there. but what im wondering is what do i bring in my bag? i have my passport and my phone(with new sim card, but i still have all contacts ect). and dont try to talk my out of it, cos it wont work, im going to a school in austrailia i have it aranged. ill be leaving in the night so i have at least 24 hours until my parents find out im gone, cos they work from every morning, what do i bring?

    Your parents will be able to track your Master Card and they won't even let you board the plane without a parent's permission, and they'll find you sooner or later. Why go through all the trouble when you'll just be taken back home? Just talk to your mom about how you saw her with your teacher, running away isn't the answer. If you're really that unhappy, I'm sure your parents will let you go to boarding school or something.

As you are under 18 you will need a letter from your parent to allow you to fly alone so doesn't look as though you will be going anywhere. Good Luck

Really? They hire children from other countries to work in Sweden?? Guess you've already checked the immigration and work visa laws for Sweden and have a job all lined up. And you have school in Australia arranged? So, your parents have already approved your going to school in Australia, eh? Oh, and what happens when your parents call the police to report you missing? [That reminds me of something you should be sure and take with you: some type of ID hidden in, say, your shoes, so that when they find your body, they can notify your parents.] Don't they have delinquency laws in your country? And I guess you've also figured out how to con the airlines into letting you board a plane without your parents? Now, you just have to figure out how to avoid having your money and other things stolen and how to avoid the perverts out there just waiting for a naive little girl all alone.

I realize that I can't relate to your situation, and that nothing I say will help your emotional pain, but believe me, running away is the worst thing you can do right now. There are tons of murderers and perverts out there that will not hesitate to take advantage of you! You could seriously get killed or raped very easily, even if you always stay in populated areas and know how to fight. You could get kidnapped and held for ransom, or sold as a sex slave into some other country. Do you have any idea how dangerous what you're doing is?! And I doubt that you'll be able to get on a plane without an adult, much less get a job in foreign country at such a young age and register in a school without your parents knowing. Trust me, kid. This plan is not gonna work. You'll be much safer at home.

umm u no it would break ur family's hearts?anywayz umm u should bring ur fav thing ,that reminds u of all the beatiful times u had with ur family or friends,n gd luck runin away,answer my Qs?

clothes,books,a few reminders of home,just ur essentials,i ran away to london,i only took a small suitcase of about 6 outfits and my toothbrush,and loads of money,and toilties GOOD LUCK IN SWEDEN!

Stop being ridiculous, get over it. There are people with WAY more problems that you and they work through it. Your 14, get a grip for Iosa sake! Running away wont solve anything, just make it worse.

I wouldnt really recommend running away. But just essentials. Personally, i would ask a tramp.
