About how much does a trip to Europe cost?

  • If a couple of friends and I decided to take a trip to Europe and travel around for a about a month, around how much do you think this would cost us? we would be staying in hotels and inns im sure. Food would be a cost and of course the train tickets and also some money for leisure. Any estimations?

it really depends on where in europe you want to go, if you go to the richer part of europe (germany, netherlands, austria, switzerland enz.) In those country's you probably need to spend 30-50 dollars on "okay" hotel. Food can be from 5e (pizza, mcdonalds enz) till 20e for a respectable main course. Other parts of europe wil be cheaper, but will be harder to reach. I dont have any clue how much train tickets cost. Booze prices are mostly between 2e for a beer and 7,50e for a wodka cola.

For a month....staying in Inns and Hotels..3 meals a day, spending money, transportation.... Figure on 300.00 a day at least. Don't forget your plane fare to Europe, depending where you are coming from.
