Can I bring alcohol from Canada to the US in my checked baggage?

Can I put alcohol in a water bottle and bring it on a plane in my checked baggage?

    Don't do it. It's illegal. You'll deeply regret it if you choose to do it and then you get caught and go to jail for underage drinking. You'll wish you wouldn't have done if that happens. I wouldn't do it. Better to be safe than sorry.

if you are flying internationally they will search your bag if not they probably won't find it also don't do it when you go to jail i will be laughing

They are not concerned about your age. I've packed liquor (something I couldn't buy in Playa del Carmen) and never had an issue. I'm much older than 21, but they are not trained to check IDs.

If it was in its original container, they wouldn't really care, unless you are going internationally. Now with it in a water bottle, that is going to raise suspicions. It would look like bomb making materials or any illegal substance once they find out the bottle has already been opened. But your biggest problem would be on the off chance that it doesn't get caught. It will probably explode, as the cargo bin isn't always pressurized and get all over your clothes. Then all of your belongings will be soaked with alcohol. Its just not a very smart decision.

you probably will not get caught. they are to busy looking for things that are not going to make the plan explode versus making sure you are not drinking underage. **edit*** i did it once..and i didnt get caught. its a bottle. they are not going to undo the cap and start sniffing it. that is so stupid, it is not like you are bringing a 32 oz of bacardi limon on the plane

well if it's invisible alcohol than yes but if ur achohal is strong and if they can smell it from the bottle than ur in deep s*H*I*T.... HAVE FUN AND DNT GET CAUGHT! or y cant u just buy sum or ask sumone to buy u sum wen u get there???

Well, you'll just have to see. They may not find it when they screen your belongings, but I would go on their web sit (delta, AMA ect.) and find out.

It's just a stupid idea. Airports are so strict on security so if they do for any reason check your bag, and they do find that... you are in such deep sh*t!!!
