How can I bring my mother to the USA?

Can I bring homemade cookies from Canada to USA?

  • Hi guys, I am going in a trip from Canada to the USA and my mother wants me to bring homemade cookies to be delivered to one of her friend in New York. Is that ok? Am I going to have problem going through the customs with that kind of merchandise? Should I be declaring the cookies? Let me know, I never tried bringing food into the USA so I prefer to know before leaving! Thanks in advance!

You'll be fine. The only kind of food they're concerned about is fresh meat. Whenever I go to Canada, I bring back a couple of bags of PC chocolate chip cookies, always declare them, and the customs guys couldn't be less interested.

No problems with cookies. What is prohibited is fruits, plants, veggies. I have crossed the border over 100 times and I assure you that your cookies are safe! :)

lol yeah you can, just dont have any drunk friends in the car saying we have dead body's in the car cause they will make you pull off and do a complete search of the car inside and out!

yes canada to usa should be fine, usa to mexico though no

im sure they wont care much xD just try to and if they stop you just say they are cookies for mommy. my aunt and mom bring stuff like chocolate and sweets from other countries all the time ^^

car -yes you can plane- i don't think you can bring food on planes
