What are good things to bring to camp?

I love how several people suggested a cell phone for summer camp. DO NOT bring a cell phone. It will most likely be taken away from you if you do. -At least a week worth of outfits (7). I suggest a little more than that since you will change outfits during the day -Make sure if camp requires some special outfit for Sunday or not (you may have to wear all-white - the camp I went to and the camp I work at both do this and I think other camps do it, too) -iPod, if the camp allows them - some do, some don't. -CDs -Two bathing suits (check what kind the camp allows - most require one pieces) -1-2 beach towels -Cover-up -Six bath towels and wash cloths -Bath robe -Shower caddy for toiletries -Nail stuff (polish, remover, cotton balls) -A costume or two - you are going to have at least one dance or some other event where you dress up. An 70s or 80s outfit is usually a safe bet -Bring a cute outfit if your camp is all girls. If it is, there is a really strong chance they will bring an all-boys camp in (or vice versa) for a dance. -Clothes pins to dry your stuff on your cabins clothes line -Flashlight -Water bottle (super important for a hot place) -Blanket -Sleeping bag -Squirt bottle (I recommend one with a fan) -Small fan for your bed (I seriously recommend this - having a fan at camp when its really hot is invaluable) -Books & Magazines -2 Laundry bags -Tennis shoes & socks -Sandals/Flip-flops -Water shoes, if you want. Are usually on a camps suggested packing list, but if you don't have them, it is not a big deal. -Camera -Tennis racquet, if you play tennis -Markers, pens, stationary, stamps

LOL, people are answering this question like ur going camping, but i assume that your going to A CAMP. So, i went to camp last summer and again this summer. This is what i suggest. Twin sheets, youll thnk me bcuz you get a ton of sand and crap in ur bed. pilow "comfort object" books journal camera If ur camp doesnt allow ipods or cell phones DONT BRING THEM, bcuz ull get them taken away cute clothes (but not the nicest) at least 2 towels shapoo and conditior make up sunscreen bug spray 2 pairs of shoes (tennis and flip flops....,maybe even 2 pairs of flip flops (mine broke last summer so i had to walk around barefoot) Pads/tampons (if u need them) Snacks money! bathing suits brush contacts (solution, extra pair, glasses) (if u need them) pjs sweatpants shorts jeans t's tanks flashlight DONT OVERPACK,,, good luck

I think a teddy bear. even if you are not atached to it its nice to have someone to cuddle with. A diary. even if u didint have it before its nice to write thoughts and just getum of your chest. make sure to have a lock on your diary. And cute clothes. that is a must. bathing suit sunscreen shorts t-shirts beach towels sleeping bag pillow light weight jacket flashlight underwear and other personal items cellphone tylenol(for headaches) allergy medicine(if you have allergies) sneakers flip flops ok i think thats about it, try not to pack to heavy. Have fun! :-) oh yeah and don't forget BUG SPRAY! you'll thank me later for that one! :-D

Everything, if it's like in cabins then just bring anything you feel you need, if it's like roughing it, bring essentials and don't pack heavy. Good things to bring when camping: Food, Water, Medicine, tents, cellphones, batteries, flashlights, cooking supplies, clothing, heavy clothes and light. And an extra can of gas. It really depends WHERE you can camping. In an actual camp ground or in the wild.

The one time I went camping the floor was really hard, uneven, and it was really cold. I woke up a few times freezing and had to get up to warm myself on the fire. Aside from water, make sure you are going to be somewhat comfortable in your tent. Cushions, an excess of blankets, and maybe something to keep the wildlife away.

spotlight, matches, a lot of snack, compass, map, medicine,.....

a bag of marshmallows, a tent, a sleeping bag, a fishing rod those kind of things

anything you think you would need on during the summer, but just the basics, your not gunna want to feel cluttered w/ a lot of stuff.
