Can a 5x10 trailer fit an 450cc atv and 250cc motorcycle?

Does anybody understand U-Haul's one way trailer with one free month of storage policy?

• Does anybody understand U-Haul get a truck/trailer one way with a free month of storage? Here is my story. I was helping a friend clean out his parents house (b/c) they moved to his brother's 2 hours south. The house is two hours a way from where we live. We drove to a a U-haul center about 30 miles from the house to pick it up so he could put some stuff into storage close by to where he lives. Either the website, customer service, or the lady at the U-haul where we were trying to get our free month acted like the only thing we could get was 5X10 for free. I don't really think my friend tried to push for a bigger one at the time, or maybe he was only thinking of what was in the trailer. Which of course would have all fit into a 5-10. However, it was going to take another trailer load. After the first trailer my friend really didn't mention about a second one, but when we discussed it would be easier to try and fit a lot of stuff into it, instead wasting gas money then we decided on getting a 4x8 trailer. We tried to get our trailer from the same place. However, we were about 5 minutes to late. So we ended up going to another U-haul place about 30 minutes out of the way. It took us while to get the trailer. Because it was not a real u-haul center(with out the other stuff). just a convenience store, and they were not sure how to cancel a contract at one location and transfer it to another location. They finally got that organized. My friend was talking to customer service and told him he could still get a free month at the same place. however it was suppose to be another unit. I thought I put the trailer under my name. Actually because he was the driver and it was his/family belongings, I just use my credit card to help pay for it. So, we get that trailer turned back 3 days later to the same storage place. However, the lady was kinda iffy/pissed if she should really give us another free storage. My friend kinda said something like he had talked to customer service and they said that it was ok for him to get another free storage space. It was a husband and wife team. Because my friend really did not protest or offer to pay for a separate one, it was kind of agreed that I would put my name on the 2nd one., and had my credit card linked to it. I got the $8 insurance and $10 24 hour access. Ok my friend got a 5x10 under his name for an outside unit, which would have been $74. When we were at the alternate place for the 4x8 trailer the only thing they had online at the place we were going to again was 7x12? storage. We went on ahead and chose that. However, when we got the place to get our second storage, they told us the didn't have it anymore and the only stuff is not always accurate. So, we understood. That is when they were getting kind of suspicious, about us getting another trailer and another free month of rent (as if they were loosing money) That is probably why I volunteered to put my name on one of them. If I had never been with my friend to begin with, it would look like two completely different moves. The lady was getting kind of nosy with what we had, because she likes to keep things really clean, and did not want mold in her climate control. We never even asked for climate control, but it was what she had at the time. So my friend turns in the trailer at 6:45 (paid $20 more for an extra day). He accidentally left his car keys on top of the trailer and had forgotten, and ended up spending about 15 minutes trying to find it. The nosy lady was trying to inspect his stuff. She was kind of mad saying that the boxes he had, would need to go into the one he already had downstairs, and it looked like rats and mold had already gotten to some of them. We never saw any rats cleaning up at his parents house. It was because it was a few boxes and things that had been around dust, dirt, temperature changes and not preserved well. So, then she has this bright idea about wanting to move the stuff from upstairs in my name to a 10x10 outside 10 units down from the 5x10 my friend already had. She wanted us to go on ahead and move that night. I thought we could. However, my friend told me we needed to go back and clean some stuff up from his parents house. The lady was getting kind of perturbed that were were not making our minds up, and was telling us that we could have two months free if we moved out of the 2nd 5x10 to the new 10x10 downstairs. However, I don't think it is 2 consecutive months. I think it is over lapping. Lets get this straight. My friend got the first 5x10 on may 28th. I got the 2nd 5x10 on June 7th. However that contract supposedly got canceled/rolled over on June 11th to the 10x10. So where are the two months coming from exactly? She told my friend that he had to keep his 5x10 and would have to move out or move his stuff into the 10x10 by June 27th before being charged. If we don't cancel out the 10x10 by July 10th, then payment will have to be made. The l
