What to bring to Europe?

What clothes should i bring for my Europe tour this May?

  • I will be going on a tour around Europe (London, Spain, Italy, France, Switzerland) for the whole month of May and I do not know what to pack. Will it be cold then? Should i bring sweaters and jackets? Can i wear capri pants and skirts too?

  • Answer:

With the variety of places you are travelling, I suggest a good mix. A heavy coat is a no, but you will be thankfull to have a good warm sweatshirt or light jacket for the nighttime and rain. If you end up on the Meditteranean in Italy/ Spain, you will be ok in capris and skirts - don't forget the swimsuit! But for the most part do pants - a shirt and something to put on (jacket, etc) at night.

Consult weather temperature in Yahoo shortly before your trip. There will be warmer days when it's not raining. So although you should bring jackets, bring your fall gear that you can dress down a bit when it gets warm.

The weather is getting better in Britain just now - glorious sunshine in Scotland and rain in London. May is usually quite a good month - but I'd advise you to take some sweaters & jackets. It wont be boiling hot but it might be pleasantly warm (if your lucky)! It will be warmer on the continent than it is here. Enjoy yourself
