What necessities can you take with you on a long-haul flight to make the flight more comfortable?
-
Anyone have any good ideas/hints to make a long haul flight more comfortable. I have traveled lots and have some of my own ideas and things I bring with me to make long flights more bearable - ex. bringing slippers, earplugs, comfy pants etc etc. Just wonder if anyone else has some fun ideas?

Answer:
Toiletries - toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, some face wash cloths (like Oil of Olay), a change of undies, hairbrush & ponytail bands to fix your hair before you land (if your hair is long enough), some zip lock bags to store used items. I'm bringing a PSP, some games & movies & a battery pack & trail mix (dried cherries, cranberries, non-salted nuts, M&M's & whatever else sounds good). I also bought a 1st Class Sleeper, which is reasonably priced & worth a try. Google this & see what you think.

I took my cousin, she's an air hostess and we got upgrades to Club Class on our flights to Florida and back. The flights were really comfortable!!!!!! ;-)

Bring an inflatable neck pillow, sanitizer (the inflight meal trays are filled with bacteria), tissues, saline nasal spray (the dry air will hurt your nose after a while), earplugs, books/magazines, shoes that can be easily slipped on and off (your feet will swell), stretchy jeans or pants, a frozen bottle of water (it will defrost gradually and leave you with ice water!), and lowfat snacks like apples and Balance Bars.

If your travelling alone, try asking for a seat beside someone same sex and age group as you, giving you a chance to have a chat and maybe make a friend.Time will go a lot faster than if your stuck beside a foreigner or a snorer.
