Nice hotels in Playa del Carmen?

  • I am going to Playa del Carmen, Mexico with my mother in the spring. We are accustomed to staying in very nice hotels (i.e. The Ritz Carlton), but since I am paying for this vacation I would like to only spend between $100-$160 per night for the hotel. We will be staying 3 nights. Do you have any recommendations for nice hotels in Playa del Carmen? We would like to be near the city, so we can got shop and eat out of the hotel. Thanks!!

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.

I stayed at t he Hotel Catalonia in August and loved it. Ask a travel agent about their suites.It is all-inclusive so I loved that too.
