How To Track The Letter Sent?

How can I track a letter that I sent to Mexico?

I sent it 9 days ago and they said that it would arrive within 5 or 10 days. Nothing has happened yet. I lost the ticket so now I DON'T HAVE THE CONFIRMATION NUMBER. What can I do! Please help!... :o(

If you sent it by USPS, when it crosses the border, it enters the Mexican postal system, and there is no tracking. If you sent it by Fed-ex or other private carrier...you can no longer track it because you lost the number. However, letters sent by these carries generally arrive in less than 10 days...they are very reliable. If you sent it by regular mail...it can take 10 days to 5 weeks to arrive..no matter what the post office in the U.S. may have told you. They have no control over mail in Mexico and sometimes tell people ridiculous things.
