Direct TV. There is really no contest. Direct TV is forward thinking and dish network is stuck in the past. But if you really want to get the best of the best go for Cox Digital Cable. Tootles, Astar

I had DirectTV for about 5 years and have had Dish Network for 4 or 5 years now... I think Dish has a much better programming package than Direct TV and for less money for the same channels.

These companies have the same satellites, same kind of transmitters and receivers. Difference is price and package. Choose company with less money and better program package. I prefer Dish Network.
