Anyone has been to riviera Maya Mexico?

For anyone who has been to the riviera maya (mexico) within the past couple of weeks or is currently there...?

  • My fiance and I are planning on going to the riveria maya (mexico) in a 3 weeks and we would like to know from people who have just come back from there or people who are currently there as to what the weather is like. we have heard that july is the rainy season, and we would like to know how bad it is so we can pack accordingly. Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Hot and wet.......wet and hot............can rain for a few minutes, a few hours or all day..........just the luck of the draw.................you should have more sun than rain..........if your lucky..........

You don`t have to be there to describe conditions. It is rainy season and July can be very rainy. August on the other hand can be considerably dryer with an average of only 4 days of rain. This link is as good as it gets and the Yucatan can be almost unpredictable. What you have to consider is the Humidity.
