  • Someone told me Mexico City is the biggest city in the world. I know New York City is pretty big too, and I thought New York City was the biggest, so which one is bigger? New York City or Mexico City?

    See site below. the figures given are larger than others you may see...because this site includes the entire metro area for each, not just inside the city limits. Some site give a list of cities, and for some of them, use figures for inside the city limits, and for others use the metro area...a mixed mess...so not good for comparison.

Mexico city it has a population around 8 million people. (mexico city by itself) But the "greater mexico", suburban area, "metropolitan area" or "Zona Metropolitana del Valle de Mexico" it has a population over 19 million people. And also it has a economy so strong which is behind kobe/osaka and it's the biggest economy in the region (latinamerica)
