Are there any good language schools in Mexico?

    Universidad Internacional (www.uninter.edu.mx) is one of the best in the world. It's located about 50 mi south of Mexico City, and I've heard Cuernavaca is BEAUTIFUL. The city itself is called the "city of eternal spring"...I'm headed there on Friday to spend 1/2 the summer studying Spanish!

I live in Guadalajara. There are a lot of Americans and Brits here learning Spanish. There are plenty of school who have exchange programs, you just have to look into them. Plus its much better to learn the language living in the country than trying to learn it somewhere else.

with this immigration issue going on you shouldn't go to Mexico (not saying it is not safe), here some basic spanish: hello: Hola(h is silent) Food: comida bathroom: baño(ask someone to pronounce "ñ" to you, i can´t tell you just by typing) bye:Hasta Luego(h is silent and hasta luego is formal, you can say "chao", it is mor informal)

Mexico is perfectly safe. I would recommend Monterrey. It has several college's for people to become doctors, lawyers etc.

Mexico could be dangerous ...like any other country in this world.......I personally love the cultural shock and I would recommend Guadalajara its a big city but not as big as Mexico city lots of schools there beautiful weather and Puerto Vallarta is in the same state (Jalisco)
