Anyone been to riviera maya, mexico?

• we are going to riviera maya for our honeymoon in 3 weeks and need some tips and advice. Where should we go? What should we see? Where should we not go? Whatever you can give me! We are 2 fit and healthy twenty- somethings and up for an adventure. Staying at Grand Princess Sunset for 6 nights.

  I stayed in playa del carmen for 6 weeks. it was like cancun jr. there was some american stuff and mexican whatever u wanted. lots of snorkelling it was right across from the island of cozemel. it is like 30 mins from cancun and it is a little paradise very charming there is a street called avenue 5 "calle 5" and it is where all the tourist stay. there is a walmart and megamart if u want too. there is gyms there you can go to but it is always hot and humid. there is limited air conditioning. there is a movie theater but cancuns IMAX super theather is the best it has big leather seats and lots of cool food, english and spanish films. playa del carmen is relatively safe. you can go to chizinitza the big pyrimids or highly recommended is the underground freshwater cenotes. i would hitchhick on the hwy and ask the driver to drop me off at a cenote and i always had a good experience. there are tourist buses always on the hwy or around willing to pick up passengers at cheap cost. have fun.
