Are any British schools in Mexico?

International Schools in Mexico City?

  • My family is moving to Mexico City this summer and I am trying to decide between schools for my two boys (ages 7 and 10). I am very interested in Greengates as I love the British system but I am worried about the travel time. We will probably be living in the Polanco area near the Canadian Embassy. Someone mentioned Westhill Institute to me as well. Can any offer any insight for me? Thanks

    Ok theres two Westhills, one in Santa Fe and the other in Polanco, and I cant say is the best school, is more for kids that have problems learning also the Greengates, sorry but even the kids from other kids says that. I recomend you the Eton School, it has the IB progam a not so big school, not so many bullies problem and one of the best schools of Mexico, this school is Santa Fe, only one cons: it is not cheap.

The Westhill Institute is a very good school and it is in the Polanco neighborhood, although you'd have to go to their Santa Fe campus after grammar school. You might want to investigate the American School which is nearby and has an American system that could help your kids with the transition. Another international school in Polanco is the Franco-Mexican Lycée which offers a French and European system and is very advanced, specially in Math.

I don't know much about it buy it may be interesting to explore. Where i stay when in Mexico City i pass by the Canadian school on Nueva York in colonia Napoles. This is a short bus ride from Polanco.

Westhill is in Santa Fe area. But theres a lot like colegio aleman, colegio tepeyac and a lot of god schools.
