Have you been to Monterrey?

Should I go to the Tec de Monterrey campus in Mexico City or Monterrey?

• I am considering doing my MBA at Tec de Monterrey. I am from California, and will participate in a one year Dual Degree program. Would you recommend studying at the Monterrey campus or the Mexico City campus... and why?

  Well Matt ignore the ones that said Monterrey is similar to USA or a safety city, It has a lot of criminality, there are militars in the streets combating the drug dealers. On the other hand Mexico city is really overcrowded, you must get used to traffic jams, criminality like robbers and that stuff but there are no militars in the streets. But I have lived in both places and I can tell you that in Monterrey you can have a great time because it is a relatively small city, and if you don't have business with drug dealers or avoid the dangerous neighbourhoods there will be no problem. And in Mexico city if you are used to traffic jams like the ones from LA, then you you will get used to Mexico city, and avoid being victim of the crime its kinda easy, just don't use the public transport wearing expensive clothes, do not go to the dangerous neighbourhoods etc etc. So in my opinion if you like big cities like LA, SF go to Mexico City and if you prefer a lil bit calm cities go to Monterrey.
