How to get my passport number through my name?

SS# and Drivers License say maiden name; Passport & Citizenship card say Maiden? Problem boarding flight?

  • We have a flight to Cancun we are leaving for at 6am on MONDAY. Will my wife be able to board for the 2 week honeymoon?! She's a mexican citizen as well as an american. Her Passport and citizenship card both say her maiden last name. Her drivers license and social security card both have her married name. We don't have a marriage certificate because it was lost and there is no time to get a copy. Please save the "well you should have thought of that before the weekend" comments, we know. We thought we had it in the folder but it isn't there. The question is, will we be able to board our American Airline flight? with her passport citizenship card saying one last name and her drivers license and social security number saying her married name? If we bring the marriage application, some wedding pictures and the RECEIPT for our marriage license from the courthouse?(but not the actual license)

    Take your marriage license too. That should clear up any confusion.

If you use your passport as ID, there is no need for a driver's license or social security card. Your problem will be if the TICKET is in a different name than the passport.

HMMMMMMMM.....Honestly, if you both have passports that are valid I really don't think it would matter. For one... You guys could just be friends going together, so how would they know if you are married or not. They know that passports are good for ten yrs. and problems like this will develop (people not having time to change it). I know when I come to and from the states all I do is just show them my passport and that is all I need. I don't think it would matter. Like I said, you could just be two friends going. They will only care if the passport pic matches your faces, but just to be safe take all the things you mentioned. Hope I helped some. Come visit me at CoCo Bongo I'm there every night almost...LOL!
