Spring Break 2010, Cancun hotels, what's the best?

  • Hi, Me and 3 friends from Ireland are thinking this year we might try Cancun and check out the Spring Break experience in the spring break season on that side of the Ocean. We have seen some Hotels from local travel agents but looking at reviews of the places they were trying to sell us it seems like it's all couples and family places (5 star all inclusive). My question is, are there any hotels that are known to be basically party hotels during the spring break season? Could you give me a list of places to check? Also what is the best time to go for spring break? Wiki says about Mid March - End of April. We are thinking of mid march, would we be better off waiting until April? Basically we just want 2 weeks of partying when it is at it's busiest.

    If you really WANT a party atmosphere with a young crowd, try to book a package deal at the Oasis. Mid to late March sounds like a winner for the party crowds. Also, while there's some buzz about swine flu coming back to Mexico, it will probably hit in January and be dying down by March...or it could be absolutely nothing but silly media hype again. Either way, it could spell AWESOME deals for the traveler who knows when to score !

The Oasis Cancun is the Spring Break party headquarters. It is All-Inclusive, so all of your drinks and food are included. The Oasis also offers day passes. So if you are trying to save money you could stay at the Salvia, which is right next to all of the clubs, and then take the bus up to the Oasis during the day. The middle two weeks are March are the peak weeks when most colleges and universities in the USA have off.

im going with 3 friends frm newcastle in for the last week of march/ first week of april! wer staying at the Oasis palm beach, it looks amazin! but the Oasis Cancun has the best reputatuion for partying, but obviously will be more expensive since its the place everybody wants to be! u will need to book soon if u want a decent hotel, weve been booked since april this year! all the hotels should be full of young people around spring break time, so any hotel would be lively!!

they are all good. just stay in the cheaapest. there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.
