Playa Del Carmen Weather?

Weather Going to Cancun/Playa Del Carmen is Ideal in May/June 2010?

  • Hello, I need help!!!! I'm flying to Cancun on a vacation on 5/29 and will be there for the first week of June. I just checked the weather (after booking the flight like a dummy) and it looks like it's raining/cloudy and will continue to stay that way while I am in Playa Del Carmen. Can someone please advise what that would be like?... I mean says that it's going to be in the 80's but would it rain all day or a few hours a day??? Would I still be able to go to Mayan Ruins and will it still be as exciting? Would I still be able to snorkel? I’m bummed because I just want to make the most out of my first ‘adventurous’ trip to Mexico and the weather situation has got me nervous. I’d appreciate any advice. Thanks for much!

    Do not believe the weather forecast. I'm sure they say rain and cloudy all year round. If I depended on the forecast for my Cancun holidays I'd never go. If it dose rain, it is usually very short and still hot. If it rains while visiting the Mayan ruins, it will be most refreshing, because the further inland you go the warmer it gets. Don't worry about the weather. You will enjoy your holiday rain or shine, and they don't close the Mayan ruins for the rain.

its is ideal because it is one of the best seasons and it will be very hot! it wont rain for you which will be good because in july it does raain a very small amount each day! enjoy your trip byee
