Do you know any site on travel news?

Any1 Know a Good Place to Stay w/a 2 yr old in/around Cancun? Prefer all inclusive, good travel site?

  • We're bringing our 2 yr old and was wondering if anyone knew a good all inclusive place to stay in Cancun. I love Cacun Palace, but it's a little pricey. Most of the hotels that have kids stuff want the kids to be atleast 4 before they can use the kid area so if you know one that caters to younger ones it would be great. We were going to do HI, but this will be half the price and we won't be able to explore much anyway. Just relaxing on the beach. I'll also be 6 months pregnant so any suggestions will help. Know of any good discount travel sites other than expedia, priceline, bookit, orbitz?? thanks!

Let me look at my travel books. Great Parnassus Resort & Spa is all-inclusive and has a baby club (ages 18 mo-3), kid's club (ages 4-12), and a teens club (ages 13-18) so that would work for you. Also, mini golf and a water park that your child may enjoy. Five swimming pools/five outdoor jacuzzis. 8 restaurants/6 bars and 2 swim-up bars. 24 hr. room service and more. By the way this hotel is brand new. It opened in Dec. 06. Another good selection of hotels is the Riu chain. There are three... Riu Cancún, Riu Palace Las Americas, and Riu Caribe. All three are all-inclusive and if you stay at one you can use the others for food, drink, pools, etc. you just have to sleep at the one you are staying at. Riu Palace is a gorgeous hotel. All three are nice though. Riu Caribe is my favorite. It's the oldest, but has the biggest beach of the three and biggest pool. It's a lot of fun there and it's super cheap. I can get a whole week all-inclusive for $800 a person including air. The Rius have a kid's club, but like most it calls for ages 4-12, but they are super nice at the Rius. That is another reason I like them. The staff of employees are amazing. They go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your vacation. They have what they call an Anamacion Team and during the day they put on activities and nightly entertainment and after that they take you out on the town. They do a wonderful job. Like I mentioned they are super nice so they wouldn't have a problem taking your two year old. If not they do also have a baby sitter service on site, which basically is the same thing cuz they take your kids to the kids club so it works out either way. You just have to give a 24 hr. notice. I know lots of the people that work at the Riu's and they are awesome. Adrianne is a sweet heart and she is very, very good with children. So, you won't have a problem. I gave you some links to discount travel places that I use. A little tip never use orbitz, travelocity, etc.! They rob you blind!!! That same deal I get for $800 goes for $1600 on those kinds of sites. Hope I gave you some ideas. Enjoy your time...You will love Cancún and have a blast!!!

go to travelocity...sometimes they have great deals if you use a certain credit card. all the bigger resorts offer all inclusive deals and have activities for kids....not sure the age ranges they allow. if your pg, id suggest staying right in the middle of the zone close to all the places youd want to visit to keep your walking down to a minimum. ive found the best deals online as ive contacted the hotels directly and was quoted higher prices...esp now that tourism has slowed down, they are trying to survive. by the way, i speak perfect spanish and i know how to bargain down the mexican way.... i never pay full price.
