What is the weather in Tenerife in October?

What is the weather forecasted to be in Cancun this October?

• Please help, I am going away with my other half to Cancun, flying out on the 1st of October. I thought the worst month for hurricane season was in September but am I right in saying that is untrue and it is actually October? So with all this in mind and looking at all the website forecasts for that week I feel very foolish booking in October and spending as much money as we did, but it's for our anniversary and i wanted it to be nice. If there is anyone that lives in or visits Cancun or anywhere around who wouldn't mind letting me know what the weather is due to be over the next couple of weeks or what it is generally like in October the October month?   It's still the rainy season but it is not often that it rains all day unless it's a tropical storm. When it rains it's usually in the early morning and ,or late afternoon. Since it will be warm weather, the rain can be refreshing. As for hurricanes, I wouldn't let this be a worry. If a hurricane was to head in the direction of Cancun, you would be given enough warning to leave the area safely. Hurricanes are watched very closely and warnings go out a week before they reach land. Many people visit Cancun and the Mayan Riviera during the summer and fall months, known as rainy season, and they have a great time. Take your holiday and leave your worries at home.
