Cancun weather in december?

  • i am going on vacation for a week on dec. 11, 2011. i have been checking the weather forcasts everyday and it says its gonna be rain everyday:( on top of that, a few days say only 78 and rain....and to some people that may be warm, but to me its kinda on the chilly side. i get cold very easy:( so now im really worried about not being warm enough to lay out poolside everyday, plus some people posted that the pools are usually cold too! the reason why we booked the trip in december is because the travel agent told us the weather in december is great.....ya, great for people who have snow, but im just worried that it wont feel like vacation kind of weather and thats the whole reason were going........please if anyone lives there or has traveled there in december please respond! i actually considered cancelling the trip!

I went to mexico 2 years ago and it was sunny and beautiful. I got the best tan of my life during my 5 day stay. I am going again on dec 12 and i've read the same weather forecasts about rain. I've also been asking around and heard that rain in december only last for a few minutes to max. of an hour in the afternoon. Hurricane season is over in early november, so you will never had a gloomy day in Cancun in December!
