Does Cabo San Lucas, mexico have good snorkeling spots?

• Hey there! I was looking online today just for fun at some cruises down to Mexico. I looked at cabo, and saw it's really inexpensive! Now that I'm actually thinking about booking it, I wanted to know some things about cabo. If I do the cruise, I'll have 2 full days to spend in cabo San Lucas off of the ship. So one of my favorite things to do in the tropics is snorkel! So I was wondering if cabo San Lucas had good snorkeling spots, and where I could find them! Thanks! :) p.s. The cruise is set to be in October, is that an okay time to go? Thanks!

  Hola. We only have a couple spots that are safe enough for snorkeling here in Cabo. The pacific ocean is a strong monster and often is too rough for swimming/snorkelling. However, the two places that most of the tour groups will take you on a boat from the cruise ships are Chileno Bay and Santa Maria Bay (both beside each other) You can also stay somewhat near CSL and snorkel near Lover's Beach. It is great snorkeling, lots of fish, reef, and calm bays. October is an okay time to visit Cabo, it is hot and humid and most of the storm activity is iver. You said tropics, but actually we are a desert. But the one good thing about visiting us in October is due to the rain storms in September, we will be a green desert! Enjoy!
