What do I need to travel from Europe to America?

For which South America countries I do NOT need a visa?

  • I want to travel for pleasure to South America. But I don't feel like standing in line for a visa unless I absolutely have to, so I was wondering if there are any countries for which I DO NOT need a visa. Additional Iformation: I am a citizen of Moldova (Eastern Europe) and am currently in the US with a tourist visa.

  • Answer:

I believe you can visit Peru without a visa, but I am not absolutely certain. You can from all countries in Western Europe. I checked with the Peru web site and a tourist visa is not required for Moldova passport holders. You are in luck. For Ecuador I do not think you will need a visa but I can not be absolutely certain. Argentina might not require a visa either. They do not for most European countries.

Check with your embassy, as I think many here are speaking as North American or Western European citizens. Make sure to do this ASAP as they can take awile (at least 15 days)

It is quite easy to answer your question, just takes about 30 minutes to reveal that you do not need a visa if traveling to Ecuador or Peru as a tourist not to exceed 90 days. All other Middle and South American Countries require a visa of Moldovian citizens. Source(s): http://www.klm.com/travel/ch_en/travel_information/travel_planning/travel_clinic/visaform.htm http://www.embassyrm.org/en/cons-serv/visas.html Edit - since Brazilian citizens require a visa to go to Moldova, Moldavian citizens need a visa to go to Brazil. As said before Equador and Peru are the ONLY VISA FREE countries.

As an American , I needed a VISA to go to Bolivia, but Its such an awesome, beautiful country, its a mustsee if you go to south america. As a Maldovian Im not sure, you should call a tourist/travel agency, they would tell you everything...

Brazil only demands Visa as reciprocity, if your country is been demands visa to Brazilian enter, Brazil will also demand for citizens of tour countries to enter here. If your country doesn't demand visa for Brazilian, Brazil won't demand visa for you.
