What are some good programs for volunteering in central america?

i want to go somewhere in central america (preferably not costa rica) this summer to volunteer. it would be mostly in july and i want to work with kids or something like that. it needs to be a program that allows people under 18. are there any good programs that you have experience with? detailed reviews and websites would help! thank you!
