Which should I travel to. Salvador or Iguassu Falls?

Travelling in South America from April 2010 - Inca Trail or Brazil?

  • Spending a month in S America and can't do everything, so what would you rather do/what do you think we should do: Inca Trail/Peru/Travel down Bolivia into Argentina (then to Santiago) Brazil/Manaus,Salvador, Rio, Iguassu Falls, Sao Paulo, travel down to Argentina (then to Santiago) Thanks

    Not sure about your budget but Brazil gets expensive after a while. I can say that Iguazu on Argentina side is great, been twice. Bolivia is great, go to the Salar de Uyuni, Peru is fun and crazy. I have been to South America 3 times, been in Brazil a couple of times but like to stay close to the border to escape the expense. if you can afford the trip to Brazil, Argentina and Chile do it. You´ll have a great time! Now the you should be aware that Brazil noe Chile are that cheap anymore. Once you decide the cities that you would like to travel you can check for nice hotels/hostels places to visit in each country.
