What kind of music do they play in clubs in Sicily?

What kind of music do they play in clubs in Buenos Aires, Argentina?

  • Is it a lot of hispanic music or more modern dance?

  • Answer:

Electronic Music is what you´ll find in most of the big clubs. There are only a few places that you will hear current American Pop Music. Hip Hop is not very big either, with 1 major party and maybe 2 or 3 other smaller ones. Most smaller venues will play Cumbia and Reggaeton, which is what the majority of Argentines listen too, especially Cumbia. 80´s music is definitely popular for some reason, but honestly those can be some of the most fun nights out you´ll have in BA (especially if you aren´t into Cumbia and Reggaeton). When you come down to BA, definitely come check us out on The Buenos Aires Pub Crawl (http://www.pubcrawlba.com), as we go out all week to different bars and clubs throughout Buenos Aires. Hope this helps! -The Buenos Aires Pub Crawl Staff-

Surprisingly enough, mostly American dance music. When I went, I couldn't believe it. You'll hardly ever hear any Hispanic music, unless you are in a Tango club, and mostly old(er) people go there. You can find Salsa clubs, but generally it's American music. Some techo places will infuse a bit of both.

I was there in 2006 for 6 months. A lot of clubs played techno or 80's American pop music. Others played current American pop. For some reason the 80's music is still really big down there.
